HIV01 Seeds

Seeds can survive deep space and survive planet fall. Once on a warm planet or starcraft, the seeds will burst open and small larvae will wriggle free and immediately hunt a food source.

Seeds seem to have no sell by date and are listed bounty items by the FTN.
